We were pleased to host the 2022 SMS Special Conference in Milan at SDA Bocconi School of Management! Bocconi is a research university of international standing in business, economics, and law. Its research projects are funded by national and supranational institutions. By virtue of being a major node in the European and global network of business and economics universities, Bocconi exchanges faculty and cooperates on large projects with like-minded European and American universities and business schools.
The conference was hosted at the new Bocconi campus, opened in 2019. The new campus is designed to be an urban space, a meeting point of fine achievements. The space itself is an achievement of avant-garde architecture from the Japanese Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa and their SANAA architectural studio.
The campus location is very central, a 15-minute walk from Milano’s central square, Piazza del Duomo, and from the social life Navigli zone, and very well served by transportation means.
